Ситуация крайне серьезная. Власти Сирии проводят зачистку одного из крупнейших городов Алеппо. Этот город у границы с Турцией должен был стать оплотом мятежников на манер ливийского Бенгази. Однако сирийская армия развернула масштабную операцию против гнезда боевиков, которая, судя по, резкому недовольству Запада, проходит весьма успешно. О незавидном положении мятежников говорит и заявление т.н. Сирийской свободной армии. По словам ее представителя, она решила перейти к партизанской тактике. Это говорит о том, что на открытое военное противостояние Асаду у нее уже нет ни сил, ни возможностей. Впрочем, это не значит, что в Сирии наступает затишье.
